Seema Wadhwani
College Counsellor
Seema is a London-based College Counsellor at Guidewell Global, guiding international students and their families through the complexities of US university admissions. She has particular expertise in advising student-athletes, especially competitive tennis players navigating US college recruitment alongside their academic applications. Seema is herself a Cornell University graduate, having earned a magna cum laude degree with a double major in Economics and Psychology and a minor in Law and Society. Tennis has been part of her life since childhood: she grew up competing in Florida and played for Cornell's varsity women's team as an undergraduate.
Both students and parents come to rely on Seema as a steady, trusted presence through what can otherwise be a relentless process. She is meticulous and highly organised, and her approach is deliberately personalised: she takes time to understand each student's interests, ambitions and values before mapping out the universities most likely to suit them. Her students have been admitted to a range of top US universities, including the University of Chicago, Cornell, Yale, Georgetown, UCLA and Tulane.
Outside her counselling work, Seema makes time for regular workouts, cooking and trying new recipes, exploring restaurants in London and abroad, and tennis at every level.
