Aziz Tazi

Academic Mentor

Aziz Tazi is an Academic Mentor at Guidewell Global with over twelve years of teaching experience and more than 200 students supported across every educational stage, from primary school through to graduate study. He holds two Masters of Science degrees, one from UC Berkeley and one from École Centrale Paris, and is one of just 120 international recipients of the Rotary Global Grant Scholarship. Aziz teaches mathematics at every level from pre-algebra through to college courses, alongside chemistry, physics, languages (he speaks four fluently), and ACT and SAT preparation.

What energises Aziz is watching students grow into their potential. He is acutely aware of how unsettling the path ahead can feel for them, and his work focuses on building genuine confidence and showing why academic subjects matter outside the classroom. Aziz himself has lived between Morocco, Paris and the United States, and he brings that multilingual, multicultural perspective into his mentoring, helping students develop a more international outlook on their studies and futures.

Outside of teaching, Aziz is also an accomplished filmmaker. His work spanning both mathematics and media earned him a place on Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2016 and recognition from Spectrum News.
