Adam D'Arcy
College Counsellor
Adam brings over 15 years of experience in higher education, student recruitment, and university admissions to Guidewell Global. Having spent five years as an International University Counsellor at ACS International School Egham, he has supported hundreds of high-achieving students through the complexities of US, British, Canadian and European university applications, developing a particular expertise in navigating the Common App process and helping students craft compelling personal narratives for competitive institutions.
Adam's career spans both sides of the admissions table. As an International Officer for the University of Glasgow, he represented the institution across the northeast and midwest United States, working directly with high school counsellors and applicants at elite K-12 schools. Most recently, he has worked as an EdTech account manager, partnering with over 30 global universities to sharpen their student recruitment strategies through data-driven insights and targeted outreach, giving him a uniquely broad perspective on what universities are looking for and how to position students most effectively.
Born and raised in Glasgow, Adam graduated from the University of Strathclyde before going on to earn an MSc in Management from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with a 3.96 GPA. He has been based in London since 2018 and also volunteers as a University Admissions Mentor with the Social Mobility Foundation.
