Katie Levy
College Counsellor
Katie is a College Counsellor at Guidewell Global with over a decade of counselling experience. Her starting point with every student is the same: ask them what they are genuinely looking for from their education, and what excites them about it. Katie has been helping students and applicants since her own middle school years, in nearly every role the field offers: academic and test prep tutor, mentor, coach, counsellor, admissions interviewer, and steady motivator. Education runs through her family (teachers, coaches, school administrators and professors all sit at her family dinner table), and she is a true believer in what the right-fit school can do for a young person's confidence, career and happiness.
Katie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University and went on to the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where she was awarded the Julia Stell Award for outstanding leadership in the community. While at Tuck she worked in the Admissions Office interviewing MBA candidates, and captained both the ice hockey and triathlon teams. She also served for many years as an alumni interviewer for Princeton.
Outside of her counselling work, Katie is a serious adventurer: she has biked across the United States twice, run several marathons, competed in an Ironman triathlon, and hiked Kilimanjaro. She lives in Denver with her husband Simon, son Riley, baby daughter Brooke, and dogs Lucy and Daisy.
