the challenge

For many students, standardised tests feel like a mountain of uncertainty.

Between ever-changing formats, competitive expectations, and conflicting online advice, it’s difficult to know where to begin and how to improve efficiently.

Families often try multiple tutors or self-study plans before realising that what students truly need is structure, strategy, and confidence.

    FAQ

    Your test preparation questions, answered

We call our tutors “mentors” because the relationship is core. Beyond teaching content, mentors guide students through the learning process, and help them develop confidence and strategies that last beyond a single test. Students work with the same mentor throughout their preparation, which allows mentors to truly know their students and tailor instruction over time.

We teach the full range of US and UK exams for undergraduate and graduate applications, including SAT, ACT, PSAT, AP, GRE, GMAT, ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, COOP, Common Entrance, UCAT, MAT, PAT, STEP, and ECAA.

Most students begin structured preparation 3-6 months before their exam, but creating a plan earlier gives students time to build skills gradually and approach the test with greater confidence.

Students are paired with a carefully selected Guidewell Global mentor trained in our in-house curriculum and chosen for both subject expertise and teaching approach. Students work with the same mentor from start to finish, allowing for a strong relationship and personalized support.
